So what’s involved in being a Parade Home? Here’s a testimonial from one of our participants.
“We visited parade homes for several years, gathering ideas for a custom home. We became followers of J&J Concepts and sought out their featured parade homes each year. One of the things that impressed us with J&J Homes was the craftsmanship which reminded us of the finish quality that went into fine homes built a century ago.
When the time was right, we met with Jerry and Patti and shared our wish list. We were impressed with their enthusiasm, suggestions and insight. Patti got to work on the design almost immediately and suggested that our home would be a perfect candidate for the Fall Parade.
Patti explained that participating in the Parade could potentially mean discounts or complimentary upgrades. Many of the trades and material providers offer discounts or complimentary upgrades for the opportunity to have their work showcased in the Parade.
Jerry worked with us to integrate energy efficient features which has proven out with lower fuel costs from the start. Patti patiently guided us through the myriad of decisions required to create that timeless feel that we sought.
We were concerned that participating in the Parade would be intrusive but we were pleasantly surprised at the courtesy of visitors and we were pleased that our decisions were validated with many favorable comments.
After six years, we’re still in love with our J&J Home and consider ourselves fortunate to have partnered with Patti and Jerry in creating our dream home.”
